The winner of the 2012 Big Boar contest goes to Reggie.  He’s from Austin, Indiana.

Reggie set a new record of 1,335 pounds.

The boar is the first out-of-stater to win the top prize in over a decade.

But not all the attention was on the winner, the third place pig was gaining attention, but that could be because of his name.

Fred Hoiboar walked in with ISU basketball coach Fred Hoiberg.

He says they approached him about naming the boar after him and raising money along the way.

The money raised goes to a camp for kids with heart disease.  Hoiberg himself suffered a heart condition and now has a pacemaker.
