Des Moines Police are looking for a man they say may have robbed a metro convenience store twice in the past several weeks.

The most recent robbery happened overnight.

Police were called to the Git N’ Go at 5736 Franklin Avenue just before midnight Wednesday.

The clerk working at the store said a man came in, displayed a handgun and demanded money.

He took money from the register and left.

The clerk said she believes the man is the same person who robbed the store on July 24th.

There was no evidence left at the scene, but the store does have a security camera.

Detectives will likely review the video Thursday.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call Des Moines Police.
