Court is back in session in Dallas County Monday for day four of testimony in the sexual abuse trial of a former Pella pastor.

Patrick Edouard is accused of sexually assaulting and exploiting women in his church.

Edouard admits to having sex with four women while he was pastor at Covenant Reformed Church.

While he claims he wasn’t counseling the women, prosecutors say he used his position to prey on the women.

On the stand Monday, a church elder fought back tears when he talked about how tough it was to hear about Edouard’s adultery.

The jury heard more of what happened behind closed doors when church leaders confronted him in 2010.

The state has rested its case against Edouard, now the defense has called his wife to the stand to testify.
