TROOPERS HONORED: Bridges Named For Fallen Officers

Two Iowa bridges are being named in honor of two fallen troopers. 

Troopers in eastern Iowa, members of the state legislature, and local officers will honor two fallen Troopers this week. 

Wednesday, a bridge over the Iowa River along I-80 westbound will be dedicated in honor of Trooper Allen Nieland.  Additionally, a bridge over the Iowa River along I-380 northbound will be dedicated in honor of Trooper Harold DeGear.
