Mercy Hospital was the place to be for expecting mothers around the metro.

The hospital hosted their annual, Stork Affair bringing in big crowds.

The event was open to anyone who was starting or thinking about starting a family.

It offered tours of the hospitals birthing units, car seat safety checks, and educational sessions to help expecting parents get on the right track.

The event also offered one-on-one meeting with doctors so people could find a physician that fit their needs before delivery time.

“I hope they really learn all the resources that are out there for those pregnant moms or the delivered moms, because we offer a lot in the community to support that and I think this is a great way to learn about all those resources available to them,” says Sharon Dekock from Mercy West Lakes.

Organizers say the event brought out close to 1,200 moms to be.
