The East High School athletics department is still trying to dig out of a financial hole following last month’s fire at the football stadium.

The fire destroyed much of the football team’s equipment, including the jerseys. Several local schools and universities pitched in to provide practice gear for the team so it could practice before school began.

The Scarlets are holding a fundraiser Wednesday night to help pay for all the football equipment that was destroyed.

It’s a $5 spaghetti dinner at the East Euclid Hy-Vee and begins at 5:00 p.m. and ends at 7:00 p.m.

All proceeds go to East High Football.
