The Governor’s office says crews will begin removing mold from Terrace Hill on Monday, and it will be an extensive project.

The Governor and First Lady moved out of the Governor’s mansion in August.  That’s when black mold was found in the third floor living quarters.

The first and second floors are clear of mold.

At first, the Branstads stayed in their home in Boone County, but now the Governor’s office says the couple is staying in Des Moines at an undisclosed location.
