President Obama paid a visit to a wounded Iowa native Tuesday at Walter Reed Medical Center.

U.S. Army Ranger Jason Church was in Afghanistan last month when he suffered extensive injuries in an IED explosion.

Church was born in Hudson Iowa and his parents and grandparents still live in Iowa.
