ROBBERY CASES: Men Sentenced To Prison

Two men arrested for robbing two separate Kum and Go stores are going to prison.

Twenty-six-year-old Christopher Lince of Ankeny and 23-year-old Zakarie Songer of Sidney both took plea deals. They entered guilty pleas to two second degree robbery charges and intimidation with a dangerous weapon.

The pair robbed Kum and Go stores in West Des Moines and Ankeny on May 4th.

During the Ankeny robbery, one of the suspects punched the store clerk and fired his weapon into the ceiling of the store.

The men are both sentenced to 25 year in prison.
