A group of Airmen are back at home with their families after a seven month tour overseas.

It was a warm welcome at the Des Moines International Airport Wednesday morning as the 30 servicemen stepped off their plane onto U.S. soil.

The Airmen with the 132nd Fighter Wing spent their time in the southeast Asian state of Oman on an air based defense mission.

It was Staff Sergeant Timothy Brower's first deployment with this guard unit, and he says he was overwhelmed by the homecoming. He says he's looking forward to some time off.  He'll be starting back to school and his civilian job soon.
