MURDER CASE: Techel Trial Scheduled

A Wapello County man will stand trial in February for allegedly shooting his pregnant wife to death.

Seth Techel is charged with first degree murder and non-consensual termination of a pregnancy in connection with the death of 23-year-old Lisa Techel.

Investigators say Seth shot Lisa at their home near Agency on May 26th. She was five-months pregnant at the time of her death.

Lisa Techel was a reserve deputy with the Wapello County Sheriff’s Office.

Seth Techel’s trial has been scheduled for February 19th in Wapello County.
