SUSPECT SEARCH: Bus Stopped To Check For Murder Suspect

Iowa State Patrol stopped a bus on I-80 to check for a murder suspect. 

According to Radio Iowa, the Trailways Bus was traveling from Omaha when police received word that a homicide suspect was on the bus. 

Police pulled the bus over at the Highway 71/Atlantic interchange, and passengers sat for 50-minutes while police searched for the subject. 

Police say they were unable to locate the subject.  They’re unsure if it was a false report or incorrect information.
