TROOPS DEPART: 402nd Leave For Mission

Nearly 100 soldiers will leave for their deployment Wednesday.

The Army Reserve’s 402nd Engineer Company will leave from Fort Des Moines. Their missions there will be to search for IED’s and clear roads.

The 95 soldiers will spend two months training in Texas before shipping out to Afghanistan.
