A major league hall of famer is getting behind a baseball project for kids.

Wade Boggs visited the legendary field of dreams in Dyersville Thursday.  Boggs has signed on as a major investor in the plan to expand the field into a 24-field baseball and softball complex.

The $38-million complex will also feature an indoor training facility.

It should be completed by the summer of 2014 just in time for the Field of Dream's 25th anniversary.
