Clive Police are searching for clues in the suspicious death of a man found in a parking lot.

Police say 49-year-old Randy Lee Warrens was lying on the ground next to Ravenwood Office Plaza in the 2000 block of Northwest 86th Street. It's a complex that houses a number of businesses.

Police say a passerby found Warrens around 2 A.M. Saturday and reported it to a nearby business. An employee tried to perform CPR on Warrens until medics arrived, but it was too late.

Authorities say the reason they believe his death is suspicious because Warrens had severe head trauma.

An autopsy is scheduled for early this week.
