Three Fairfield men have been arrested and charged in a heroin distribution case.

The Southeast Iowa Inter-Agency Drug Task Force says it began an investigation into the case in July.

Thirty-two-year-old Isaac Knight, 27-year-old Kyle Connely, and 24-year-old Shane McBride are charged with conspiracy to deliver less than 100 grams of heroin. Knight is also charged with ongoing criminal conduct.

Connely has bonded out of jail, but McBride and Knight are being held in the Jefferson County Jail on a bond of $100,000 each.
