Officials at the University of Northern Iowa are asking the Board of Regents for approval to demolish a recently closed school.

UNI wants to tear down the Price Laboratory School building, except for the field house and west wing. The university closed the school in June in an effort to shore up the budget.

The Regents will consider the request at a meeting on Wednesday.
