CULVER PLANS: Former Governor Considers Future

Former Iowa governor Chet Culver is looking at running for governor again.

That's according to his former Communications Director, Brad Anderson. On this morning's The Insiders, Anderson acknowledged Culver's been meeting with party insiders about the possibility, “I've certainly talked with Governor Culver. I don't think it's any secret he's looking at it."

Does governor Branstad’s voting back incumbents? Albrecht says Branstad doesn't need to make a decision on running again until the paperwork filing deadline in March, 2014.

There is no word on when the 41st Iowa governor, Culver, will make his decision on whether he'll run again.
