Paul Rhoads has been having a good week. News of the Liberty Bowl, then the state's top recruit, Valley tackle Jake Campos, changes his commitment from Missouri to Iowa State.

Then word of next year's potential number one recruit, Allen Lazard of Urbandale, is also going to be a Cyclone.

Lazard is a 6-4 game-breaking receiver with 4.5 speed. He had nearly a thousand yards and 11 touchdowns as a junior. Lazard drew interest from Iowa, Nebraska, Michigan, and LSU just to name a few.

He said on twitter, “Today I took a big step in life and that was to commit to play football at Iowa State. Couldn't be happier."

But that’s not all, Southeast Polk quarterback Kyle Starcevich, also said he would play for the Cyclones.

Starcevich passed for 2,200 yards and 24 touchdowns this season. He tore his ACL in the semifinal loss to Ankeny. Starcevich started three seasons for the rams.
