A former Des Moines Library Foundation employee is accused of using the organization’s credit card to steal money.

Stephen Haider was arrested Monday and charged with first degree theft and unauthorized use of credit cards. Both are felony charges.

The Des Moines Register reports Haider is a former Executive Assistant for the Des Moines Public Library Foundation.

He is accused of charging more than $18,000 in unauthorized expenses on the foundation’s credit card.
