One Iowa couple wanted to give their baby an extra special birthday. They tried scheduling the delivery for 12:12 p.m. on 12/12/12, but a tardy doctor messed up their plan.

Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames says Jennifer and Grant Robbins hoped to welcome their son at the coveted time, but their anesthesiologist showed up late.

So instead of 12:12 p.m. Rembrandt Robbins was born at 1:14 p.m. or 13:14 in military time.

Lucky little Rembrandt still found a way to make his birthday a numerical coincidence, he weighed 7lbs 8oz, scored a 9/10 on his APGAR test, and Mary Greely’s address is 1111 Duff Avenue.
