The Marshalltown Fire Department is investigating a small fire that caused a lot of damage at the local YMCA.

Crews responded to the building around 5 p.m. Tuesday.

It appears someone set a roll of toilet paper on fire in the locker room, but the flames spread and caused $5,000 in damage.

The Times-Republican reports that authorities are calling the fire suspicious.
