An 18 year old is in a lot of legal trouble after authorities say he stole a SUV in Illinois, then stole gas in Iowa and finally crashed after a high speech chase into Missouri.

The Appanoose County sheriff says Gerardo Contreras stole a Dodge Durango in his hometown of Rochelle, Illinois on Friday.

Later, he took off from the Konvenience Korner in Centerville without paying for gas.

A deputy chased him all the way into Unionville, Missouri where Contreras eventually crashed his vehicle after reaching speeds of more than 100mph.

In all, four law enforcement vehicles were damaged in the chase and crash.

No one was hurt.
