LIBRARY CLOSURE: Blizzard Affects Electrics

A Des Moines library has been a a victim of this week’s storm.

The Franklin Avenue library is closed and will stay that way until December 26th.

The library says the closure is needed because of problems with an electrical transformer that was damaged during the blizzard.

All other Des Moines libraries will remain open.
