Friends and family will gather tonight to remember a Des Moines man after he was shot at least six times earlier this month.

Police say 31-year old Rashad Adair was shot while sitting in a car parked in the 1400 block of Washington Avenue on December 6th.

He died Christmas day turning the case in to a homicide.

No one has been arrested and police haven’t publicly identified a suspect.

The candlelight vigil is at 1410 Washington Avenue in Des Moines and starts at 6 p.m.

Saturday would have been Adair’s 32nd birthday.
