NEW SESSION: Legislature Begins Work Monday

The Iowa Legislature goes back into session Monday.

On the second day of the session, Gov. Terry Branstad will deliver his Condition of the State address. Branstad could outline his education reform and budget plans during the address.

The Legislature has gone into unpaid overtime to finish its work each of the last two years.

This year lawmakers will stop being paid on May 3rd.
