Des Moines Police are investigating an overnight robbery, this time on the city’s north side.

Officers were called to the Git N Go at 2911  Douglas Avenue just after midnight Tuesday on reports of a robbery.

Calls to police say two men wearing masks came into the store.  Witnesses report seeing the suspects carrying handguns.

Police cannot confirm at this time what, if anything, was taken.

The men left the store and ran in different directions.  Police have not located the suspects, but say a police dog did track the scent of one suspect and discovered some of his clothing that had been discarded.

There have been four overnight robberies in the metro in the past week.
