Des Moines police have made an arrest in an iPad robbery that happened over the weekend.

Matt Drewis says he placed an ad on Craigslist to sell his iPad. When he went to meet a prospective buyer on the city’s east side, he was assaulted.

“I was looking down and showing him some of the things on it and then all of a sudden, out of nowhere that other kid came around the corner and just hit me,” says Drewis.

Drewis says he was punched in the face with brass knuckles and by the time he recovered the two people were gone, along with his iPad.

Police have arrested 23-year-old Jovan Martez Clark in connection with the case. He is charged with second degree robbery and is being held in the Polk County Jail.

Another arrest in the case is expected shortly.

The investigation into two similar iPad robberies continues.
