There are two weeks left in the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign and the organization is nearing its goal.

More than $1 million has already been raised, but more money is needed to reach the $1.2 million goal.

“We have received some generous checks and online contributions since the bell ringing stopped on Christmas Eve, but we obviously still have a ways to go,” says Arvid Huisman with the Salvation Army.

The campaign runs through January 31st and is about 13 percent shy of its goal.
