MURDER SUSPECTS: Fugitives Found In Iowa

Two people wanted in connection with a Kansas homicide investigation were captured Thursday in Iowa.

Twenty-two-year-old Lloyd Wabaunsee and 22-year-old Desiree Shopteese were found in the trunk of a car at the Urbandale Hy-Vee on Douglas Avenue around 9:00 p.m. Thursday. They were wanted on homicide warrants.

U.S. Marshals and Urbandale police helped make the arrests. Police say they are suspects in the shooting death of Kevin Stanley. He was found dead just north of Topeka on January 10th.

Two others were arrested at the same time, Rachel Hudson and Aaron Lofton, They have been charged with obstructing apprehension or prosecution.

All four were wanted on fugitive from justice warrants.
