Iowa will always be the most hated team in college wrestling.

Friday, Penn State traveled to Iowa City for the biggest dual of the year with the Hawks ranked 3rd and the Nittany Lions in the #1 spot.

The 125 weight class was a rematch of last year’s national final. Matt McDonough escapes Nico Megaludis in overtime to hang for the 2-1 win.

Carver exploded with mayhem for the 133 when Tony Ramos sticks Jordan Conaway.

In the 157 weight class Derek St. John beat 5th ranked Dylan Alton in a late take down.

It came down to the heavy weights; Mike Evans in the 174 upsets Matt Brown.

Hawks win big 22-16.
