A bill that would bar cities from keeping fines from traffic cameras is moving ahead in the statehouse.

Tuesday a house subcommittee approved a bill that would require cities to turn over all fines to a road use fund after paying administrative costs.

The bill now moves to the full transportation committee.

Lawmakers are also considering bills that would ban the use of the cameras statewide.
