Gov. Terry Branstad’s education reform proposal is moving forward in the Iowa House Wednesday.

A hearing by the full Education Committee begins at 3:00 p.m. and the discussion is expected to go late into the evening.

A Senate subcommittee took a look at the plan last week, specifically a part of it that establishes a new program that offers seals for high school diplomas, and raising the starting pay for Iowa teachers.
