Bruce Braley is getting more support in his quest for a US Senate seat.

Monday, he gained the endorsement of a former Iowa congressman. Leonard Boswell announced on his Facebook page that he is supporting Braley’s campaign.

Braley currently represents Iowa’s First District in the U.S. House. After Sen. Tom Harkin announced earlier this month he wouldn’t seek re-election at the end of his term, Braley announced he would run for the open seat in 2014.

Rep. Dave Loebsack is also supporting Braley’s candidacy.
