A Winter Storm Warning remains in place for central Iowa.

Dry air wrapped into the storm after moving through the Kansas City area through the afternoon. That has cut down many snow totals. Through 10PM much of Southern and Western Iowa had seen 3-5 inches of snow. Downtown Des Moines had 2.4".

By morning, much of the warning area will have 3-6" of snow.

Travel will be tricky Friday morning. Most roads are mostly to 100% snow covered.

The snow will come to an end by noon Friday.
