The Des Moines School Board is narrowing the search for a new superintendent.

Board members met with the consulting firm assisting in the search Thursday night. They say of the 49 people who applied for the position, only 6 made the cut.

They will each be interviewed privately next week.

Then the finalists selected from that group will be interviewed the week of March 4th. Those interviews will be televised in the multipurpose room on Central Campus.
