Cars and trucks weren’t the only vehicles having problems with the slippery road conditions Tuesday morning.

One of the big DART accordion buses traveling from Ankeny to downtown Des Moines got stuck on Interstate 235 westbound near East 12th Street.

DART officials say 15 passengers were on the bus when the center axle started to slip. It took a maintenance crew about an hour to get the bus back in its way.

In all DART says 10 buses got stuck throughout the metro and at times the delays were over half an hour.

No one was hurt in any of the incidents.
