I-80 BLOCKED: Semis Crash Near Kellogg

An accident involving several semi-trailers shut down the westbound lanes of I-80 in Jasper County Wednesday morning.

The Iowa Department of Transportation says one of the semis was lying on its side, blocking all the westbound lanes of travel near Kellogg at mile marker 178. The DOT was able to complete cleanup and get the road reopened in under an hour.

There’s no word on whether there were any injuries reported from the crash.
