BANK ROBBERY: Two Suspects Sought

Des Moines police are looking for two men who robbed a south side bank just before noon Monday.

Police say the men walked into the West Bank at 3920 SW 9th St. and handed a teller a note demanding money. The teller put an undisclosed amount of money in a plastic back and the men left the bank in an unknown direction.

No weapons were shown or indicated during the robbery and police say they don’t have a description of a getaway vehicle.

One suspect is a white male with facial hair. He was wearing a dark coat over a gray hooded sweatshirt that said “FIGHT” on the front.

The other suspect is a black make with facial hair. He was wearing a black hooded jacket with a black hat.

Both men were wearing sunglasses during the robbery.
