ENGLISH BILL: King Pushes For Official Language

Congressman Steve King is renewing his push to make English the officials language of the U.S.

It’s called the English Language Unity Act.

The bill would require all official functions in the U.S. to be conducted in English it would also establish a uniform language requirement for the citizen naturalization process.

King also introduced the legislation in 2009 and 2011 but both times it failed.
