You may not recognize their faces, but if you’ve attended a Boy’s State Basketball Tournament in the last 30 years, you’d probably recognize their voices.

Don Uker and Father Craig Collison volunteer as the announcers at Wells Fargo Arena every year.

Uker is originally from Denison, but now lives in Arizona, he has been announcing games for 32 years.

Father Collison is a priest in Sioux City and the uncle to NBA player Nick Collison and has been announcing games for the last 27 years.

The pair take turns at the microphone over 6 days to announce 32 games. They say they enjoy the people and the camaraderie that comes with volunteering at the tournament.
