This is an archived article and the information in the article may be outdated. Please look at the time stamp on the story to see when it was last updated.

The Iowa Hawkeyes finished 6th in the Big 10, but a weak non-conference schedule, high RPI, and lack of big wins kept Iowa out of the NCAA tournament.

The Hawks will play in the NIT for the 2nd straight year. The Hawks will take on Greg Lansing and Indiana State Wednesday night at 6.

The game will be at Carver Hawkeye Arena.

Iowa is a 3 seed.  Should they advance, Hawks will take on the winner of UMass and Stony Brook.
