The Revenue Estimating Conference will meet at the Statehouse Friday to go over Iowa’s finances.

The three member board meets three times a year to make revisions to its estimates.

The last meeting in December brought positive reports of higher than expected state revenue.

The governor and the legislature are required to use the REC estimates in preparing the state budget.
