Law enforcement officials are looking for an inmate who failed to return to a northeast Iowa work release facility.

The Iowa Department of Corrections says 27-year-old Marco Canard Johnson was on a job seeking furlough and didn’t come back to the Waterloo Work Release Facility Wednesday. He was serving a sentence of 10 years, which began in 2004, for a second degree robbery conviction.

Johnson is an African-American male with black hair and brown eyes. He is five-foot-nine and 195 pounds and also has tattoos on his left arm.

If you have any information on his location contact the Waterloo Police Department of the Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office.
