The NIT doesn't excite all fans equally, but for those who haven't seen post-season wins in a while, it's fun.

Iowa gets a chance at their first NIT final four.

The Hawkeyes played at Virginia Wednesday, where the Cavaliers won 19 straight, including 9 in the ACC.

Iowa leads at the break, 31-28.

Second half, the hawks keep it going and look good doing it, winning 75-64.

Now they head to Madison Square Garden to take on the Maryland Terrapins. Hawks are the three seed, Maryland two seed. The game is Tuesday night in New York City.
