A Des Moines house has six bullet holes after a hail of gunfire Tuesday night.

Around 11:00 p.m., a 51-year-old Anna Ricks was upstairs asleep and her 12 year-old daughter Sierra was downstairs watching TV when they say they heard ten shots in the 1100 block of 14th Street.

Police found six bullet holes in the left side of the house and two bullets that went through the wall and into the home. Some of the bullets missed Sierra by just feet.

A witness told officers he saw three teenagers running near the scene after the shots were fired. Police couldn`t find the teens or any other evidence in the area.

The victims told police they couldn`t think of any reason they'd be targeted.
