UNI’s basketball coach Ben Jacobson will stay in Cedar Falls. There is no pay raise; Jacobson will still make an annual salary of $525,000 dollars with annual raises built in. The 42-year-old coach has had offers from bigger schools but likes his job at UNI. No NCAA tournament this year, but they are in the semifinals of the CIT, and that’s still important to building the future.
