The Iowa House of Representatives is hoping to get some input from Iowans before moving forward with a health care bill

The Democrat controlled Senate already passed a bill that would sign the state up for expanded Medicaid coverage, but before the House considers that bill they want to hear from the public.

They are holding a public hearing Tuesday, April 16 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. to gather input.

The legislature and the governor must come to an agreement by the end of the year when the current Iowa Care plan expires.
