A construction worker was arrested and charged with theft Tuesday after allegedly stealing materials purchased for a client.

The Polk County Sheriff’s office arrested 30-year-old Joshua Auten of Big Time Builders after a client reported materials purchased for a construction project never made it to the construction site.

An investigation revealed the materials paid for by the client had been stolen.
