NEW CASINO: Final Decision Nears

The Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission will make the final decision on a new western Iowa casino Thursday.

Three companies, four plans, and hundreds of millions of dollars are all on the line in Sioux City.

The IRGC will decide which company can move forward with their plan to build a new casino in Woodbury County.

Last month the commissioners toured the proposed sites and talked with residents about their concerns. Now they will chose the plan they feel will be most beneficial to the the area.

The land-based project will replace the Argosy Riverboat Casino.
